Forecast Discussion:
There will still be an opportunity for thunderstorms today. However, drier air will be moving into the region today and tomorrow for a downtrend in storm activity and more sunshine. In fact, clear skies are expected all the way through Saturday. Thus, there will be an uptrend in peak 8 hour Ozone values today and Saturday but remain just within the Good category. Rainfall chances return again Sunday as atmospheric humidity increases. Rain becomes likely Monday into Tuesday as a low pressure system moves through the region. In turn, Ozone levels drop.
