Discussion
The monsoon will become active again beginning tomorrow (Saturday). Tomorrow afternoon/evening, strong winds out of the east are looking more and more likely. Therefore, blowing dust could be an issue again. However, recent rain may also help to limit dust that is kicked up. The dust risk is Low.
Then after Saturday, uncertainty in what happens on a given day grows a bit, typical of active monsoon periods. In general, gusty winds from distant thunderstorms will be possible in the evenings, particularly early next week. Elevated PM10 (dust) levels will be possible from local activity and from storm-related winds. However, the dust risk (i.e. risk for exceeding the standard) is Low for now.
Check back on Monday morning for the next dust risk outlook.
